Three Filipino Student Inventions Advance to Global Stage of James Dyson Award 2024
Three groundbreaking inventions by students from De La Salle University-Manila (DLSU) and Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) have made it to the global round of the James Dyson Award 2024. These innovations, which tackle sustainability, construction, and fire safety, were selected for their potential to revolutionize their respective fields. RAMUN, developed by DLSU’s Joseph Aristotle de Leon, emerged as the national winner, while MSU-IIT’s GeopolyCement and FireGeoPrimer, created by Ynna Nichole Ilogan, Rodel Remolana Jr., King Zhytt Driz, and Alonzo Gabriel Limocon, earned spots as national finalists.
