SHINee has made a poignant return with their new single album, Poet | Artist, released today, May 25, 2025, marking their 17th debut anniversary. This release serves as a heartfelt tribute to their late member Jonghyun, who passed away in 2017.

Poet | Artist comprises two tracks:
Poet | Artist: An electropop song featuring Jonghyun's lyrics and composition, blending reggae rhythms with emotive vocal riffs. The lyrics encourage embracing poetic perspectives in everyday life.
Starlight: A mid-tempo dance-pop track characterized by electric guitar, synth pads, and energetic vocals, depicting the experience of meeting someone who shines brightly in one's life.
The title track includes Jonghyun's vocals, reconstructed from a guide version he recorded before his passing, allowing fans to hear his voice anew.
