Modeling A Social Mind
Phd student Setayesh Radkani is working on two Phd thesis projects in two different cognitive neuroscience labs at MIT with great hopes of gaining a better understanding of the underlying mechanisms' social influence in the mind and the human brain.
For her first project she is studying punishment as a social tool to influence others, while uncovering the neural processes underlying social learning for her second project.
What is more inspiring with her story is her strong passion in both Mathematics and Psychology as she explores the hidden beauty of the world around her.
