Bill and Melinda Gates Prioritizing Math Education Over Reading and Writing

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced on Wednesday that it will make grants totaling more than $1 billion as part of a four-year national plan to improve math education.
Its goal is to assist students in succeeding in school and landing well-paying jobs after graduation, based on research that shows a link between strong math skills and career success.
